Australians affected by ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred can now apply for the Centrelink cyclone payment, which provides up to $6,500 in financial relief for lost income.

From March 11, 2025, at 2 PM AEDT, eligible workers and sole traders can submit claims through myGov for up to 13 weeks of financial support under the Centrelink cyclone payment scheme.
