Discover the details of the Capital One Bank Class Action Settlement 2024, including the payout per person, eligibility criteria, and payment date. Find out how much you could receive and how to claim your settlement. Stay informed and ensure you don’t miss out on your compensation.

In 2019, Capital One experienced a significant data breach affecting millions of customers. As a result, a class action lawsuit was filed, and a settlement was reached.

Capital One Data Breach Settlement Amount

The total settlement amount for the Capital One data breach was $190 million.

However, determining the exact payout per person is complex due to several factors:

  • Total number of eligible claimants: The more people who filed valid claims, the smaller the individual payout.
  • Type of claim: Different types of claims (e.g., out-of-pocket losses, identity theft) might have different compensation levels.
  • Proof of damages: Claimants had to provide evidence of financial losses to receive compensation.

Unfortunately, there’s no exact figure for the average payout per person. The settlement funds were distributed based on the individual claims and the overall pool of money available.

If you submitted a claim, you should have received a notification about the status of your claim and the amount of your settlement payment.
