Monthly and Quarterly CRA Benefits
Canada Child Benefit (CCB)
The Canada Child Benefit is a tax-free monthly payment aimed at helping families with the cost of raising children.
- Eligibility: You must live with and be the primary caregiver for a child under 18. Either you or your partner must meet residency requirements.
- Payment Amounts: Up to $7,787 annually for children under 6 and $6,570 for children aged 6 to 17 for the July 2024 to June 2025 payment year. These amounts will increase in July 2025.
- 2025 Payment Dates: January 20, February 20, March 20, April 17, and monthly thereafter.
GST/HST Credit
The GST/HST Credit is a tax-free quarterly payment designed to help individuals and families with low to modest incomes recover some of the GST or HST theyβve paid.
- Eligibility: Must be at least 19 years old (or meet specific family-related criteria) and a Canadian resident for tax purposes.
- Payment Amounts: Up to $519 for singles and $680 for couples, plus $179 per child for the July 2024 to June 2025 period. These amounts will increase in July 2025.
- 2025 Payment Dates: January 3, April 4, July 4, October 3.
Advanced Canada Workers Benefit (ACWB)
The ACWB is a refundable tax credit provided to low-income workers, with advance payments available.
- Eligibility: Must have worked and earned an income below the provincial or territorial threshold.
- Payment Amounts: Up to $1,518 for singles and $2,616 for families, with additional disability supplements. These amounts will increase for payments starting in July 2025.

Canada Carbon Rebate (CCR)
The CCR, formerly the Climate Action Incentive Payment, is a tax-free quarterly payment to help Canadians offset the cost of pollution pricing.
- Eligibility: Must reside in specific provinces and meet age or family-related criteria.
- Payment Amounts: Varies by province. For instance, Ontario residents can receive up to $700 (single) or $840 (couple), plus $140 per child. Additional supplements are available for rural residents.
- 2025 Payment Dates: January 15, April 15, July 15, October 15.
Provincial and Territorial Benefits
Alberta Child and Family Benefit (ACFB)
The ACFB supports low- and middle-income families in Alberta with children under 18.
- Eligibility: Alberta residents with at least one child under 18 and a family income under $45,285 for the base benefit.
- Payment Amounts: Up to $2,221 for one child and $5,656 for four or more children for the July 2024 to June 2025 payment year. Adjustments expected in July 2025.

Ontario Trillium Benefit (OTB)
The OTB helps Ontario residents manage the cost of energy, property taxes, and sales taxes.
- Eligibility: Must qualify for at least one of the three credits included in the OTB: Northern Ontario Energy Credit, Ontario Energy and Property Tax Credit, or Ontario Sales Tax Credit.
- Payment Amounts: Maximum amounts vary by credit. For example, up to $1,248 for the Ontario Energy and Property Tax Credit for those aged 18β64.
- 2025 Payment Dates: Monthly from January 10 to December 10.

Retirement and Disability Benefits
Canada Pension Plan (CPP)
The CPP provides a monthly pension to help replace your income when you retire.
- Eligibility: Must be at least 60 years old and have made at least one contribution based on work in Canada.
- Payment Amounts: Maximum monthly payment at age 65 is $1,364.60. Payments increase annually based on the Consumer Price Index.

Old Age Security (OAS)

Why isn’t there any relief for low income and on disability benefits and wishing this would change and about the housing subsidy being reduced and cpp increase π€ and sad and robbing the poor and less fortunate. This had 2 change. Quit robbing the poor and poverty π’ π πͺ
I totally agree with you it’s not right to treat anyone like that yet they seem to think of them selves.
It’s been my attention that no GST or other income has not been sent by mail or deposit. I was counting on that for Groceries.
