Manitoba’s Latest PNP Draw Issues 276 Invitations for Permanent Residency

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) has conducted its second draw of December 2024. Manitoba’s regular draws, held through the Expression of Interest (EOI) system, invite eligible candidates to apply for Canadian Permanent Residency (Canada PR).

If you’ve received an invitation in the latest draw, you will have 60 days to submit your application for Canada PR, along with all required documents. Missing this deadline will result in the invalidation of your application.


Manitoba Latest PNP Draw Results

Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream

On December 27, 2024, Manitoba issued 276 invitations to candidates in the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream to apply for Canada PR. Here’s a breakdown of the results:

  • Total Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) issued: 239
  • Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 857

Occupation-Specific Selection

Manitoba also conducted targeted selections for specific occupations within the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream.

Selection 1: Health and Transportation Occupations

  • Number of LAAs issued: 18
  • Eligible NOC 2021 Unit Groups:
    • 31101 – Specialists in surgery
    • 31102 – General practitioners and family physicians
    • 31301 – Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
    • 31302 – Nurse practitioners
    • 73301 – Bus drivers, subway operators, and other transit operators

Selection 2: Food Service Managers

  • Number of LAAs issued: 19
  • Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 632
  • Eligible NOC 2021 Unit Group:
    • 60030 – Restaurant and food service managers

In total, 56 of the 276 invitations issued in this draw went to candidates with a valid Express Entry profile number and a job seeker validation code.

  5. Adaptability: Maximum 500 points
  6. Risk: Maximum 200 points

Application Processing Time

Approximately 80% of applications under the MPNP are processed within 8-10 months, making it an efficient pathway to Canadian immigration.
