Why Was the Apple Watch Settlement Reached?
The class action lawsuit against Apple alleged that the tech giant manufactured specific Apple Watch models without enough internal space to accommodate normal battery swelling. As a result, the swelling could damage the watch’s screen and other components, leading to expensive repairs. Although Apple has not admitted to any wrongdoing, it agreed to settle the case to resolve these claims.
