Porsche Sunroof Defect Settlement: Who’s Eligible and How to Claim Compensation

Porsche has reached a class action lawsuit settlement over claims that certain vehicle sunroof draining systems were defective, causing water leaks and expensive repairs for owners and lessees. The settlement provides compensation and warranty extensions for affected consumers.

Which Porsche Vehicles Are Covered Under the Settlement?

The Porsche sunroof settlement benefits current and former owners and lessees of the following vehicles:

  • 2015-2023 Porsche Cayenne
  • 2015-2023 Porsche Macan
  • 2014-2023 Porsche Panamera

To qualify, the vehicles must be equipped with a sunroof.

What Is the Lawsuit About?

The class action lawsuit alleged that Porsche manufactured certain vehicles with faulty sunroof drainage systems, leading to water leaks inside the car. The plaintiffs claim that Porsche was aware of the defect but did not provide proper fixes, forcing consumers to pay for repairs.

While Porsche denies any wrongdoing, it has agreed to settle the lawsuit to resolve these claims.
