$2M Bosch Home Appliances Class Action Settlement 2024: Claim Cash or Extended Benefits

BSH Home Appliances, the manufacturer of Bosch-branded microwaves and ovens, has agreed to a $2 million class action settlement to resolve allegations of defective variable-frequency drive (VFD) control panels. These defects allegedly caused control panels to fade, dim, or fail, affecting readability and usability.

Settlement Overview

The class action lawsuit claims that certain Bosch microwaves and ovens, identified by specific model numbers, contained flawed VFD control panels that degraded over time. Although BSH Home Appliances denies wrongdoing, the company has agreed to compensate affected customers through various tiers of benefits.
