Claiming Your Second Payment from the Equifax Data Breach Settlement

In 2017, Equifax revealed a massive data breach that impacted approximately 147 million people, exposing sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, birth dates, driver’s license numbers, and credit card details.

The fallout led to a settlement where Equifax agreed to pay at least $380.5 million to a restitution fund, with an additional $125 million earmarked for out-of-pocket losses if the initial funds were exhausted.

Fast forward to today, and there’s good news for affected individuals: a second round of payments is now being distributed.

  1. I received $7.44 on the one an only email I’ve received from Equifax data breach! Had they sent it all out right the first time it would not be dragging out like this!

  2. Well I don’t know about anyone else but the $32 I got 2 years ago and the 32.74 doesn’t even count to all the fraudulent activity that I’ve had recently or the monthly payments that I pay to guard my identity. To have your identity protect it it’s like 24.99 plus arm and your first born. To be honest just since October I had 30 something data breaches just in the past year like three four different companies. And that’s you know my address is my phone numbers my password to my social my life. I’m not ever going to have anything in life because I keep taking L’s. I’ve been working the past 4 years to get my credit score up so I can maybe own something you know like a small place and I truly want a different social security number and an identity. Equifax and all the other ones they can spend seven to 10 years trying to regain my identity it’s just not going to work. I get so discouraged and I just want to give up. I am grateful though the Equifax company did own up to their stuff. I just want to have a firm foundation to stand on and my information is leaked all over the dark web like I’m a pornstar. Lol. Thank you for letting me rant and the early warning systems. I keep praying one day things will be ok. Rant over thank you for listening.

  3. The CEO makes $13 million a year. The Consumer is only worth to him & Attorneys $40. The consumer has been ruined by Dark Web that they are aware of and our credit and score keeps fluctuating they don’t report correct information and they refuse to correct their mistakes. I have been fighting with them since 2019 when I was made aware of the compromise and their negligence.
