What Benefits Are Offered?
1. Customer Support Program
Eligible vehicles can receive free inspection and repair of fuel pumps for up to 15 years from the date of first use.
- No action is required to participate; benefits activate automatically upon final settlement approval.
2. Extended New Parts Warranty
If a recalled vehicle’s fuel pump is replaced, the warranty will extend for 15 years from the replacement date or up to 150,000 miles.
3. Loaner/Towing Program
Mazda will provide complimentary loaner vehicles or towing for inoperable vehicles undergoing repairs under the program.
4. Reimbursement for Expenses
Owners can file claims for out-of-pocket repair costs incurred before the final settlement date if the repair was denied coverage by Mazda.
Key Deadlines
- File a Claim for Reimbursement: Postmarked or submitted by May 22, 2025.
- Exclude Yourself (Opt-Out): Postmarked by December 16, 2024 (or January 17, 2025, if you received notice on December 4, 2024).
